“Wake up and go vote!” Election Action: On Tuesday, November 3, at 9 a.m., churches are encouraged to ring their bells. Additionally, Church doors will be open throughout the day for parishioners to enter, pray, and seek blessings for the community and the state. The Dems routinely outperform us in absentee and early voting. By the time election day rolls around, we’re already facing a deficit of anywhere from 500 to 700 votes that we need to overcome. This has cost us significantly, as we’ve lost important races by anywhere from two to fifty votes over the last few […]
In 2020, Oregon voters passed Measure 110 and became the first state to decriminalize hard drugs. Possessing fentanyl, heroin, or meth became a $100 ticket with a treatment hotline number attached. Proposition 1 provides a perfect illustration of why […]

A week ago Thursday, former state representative Greg Chaney drove over from Boise to speak to the Bonneville County Republican Central Committee. I served with Representative Chaney, who chaired the House Judiciary and Rules Committee, and we worked together on some important issues, including legislation that kept Idaho’s schools and businesses open during COVID. His […]
